And the podiums just keep coming - Kurtis Marschall grabs another pole vault placing at the Diamond League with 3rd on countback after his 5.95m clearance on his second attempt.
Wow! An Australian 1-2 in the 3000m. Jessica Hull wins in 8:24.69, just off the Australian record. Rose Davies a big PB with 8:25.38 for 2nd. Linden Hall gets 6th with 8:27.16, Georgia Griffith 7th 8:27.94 and Lauren Ryan 19th 8:41.85
Earlier in the meet Rhiannon Clarke ran 13.04 in the Para 100m and Sam Carter was 2nd in the 1500m WCR final T54 with 2:59.61, and Sam Rizzo 3rd with 3:00.20
London Diamond League underway
Some 4x100m relays: In the mens the Australian team (Kennedy, Azzopardi, Law, Browning) finishes 2nd to GBR in 38.00, equal 3rd fastest time ever. For the womens team (Lane, Harris, Hanlon, Lewis) also 2nd to GBR in 43.08, 9th fastest time ever.
Spitzen Leichtathletik Luzern:
Wow .. Cameron McEntyre has his first comp since Oceania champs and flies the javelin 85.73m on his last throw for a massive 2.70m PB and finishes 2nd. Jumps from #8 to #3 Australian all-time, and #6 in the World this year.
Eddie Nketia ran in the 2nd heat of the 100m and finished 3rd with 10.09 (0.0) (4th overall)
In the 200m, Aidan Murphy was 5th overall with 20.65 (-0.2).
In the women's javelin, Kathryn Mitchell finished 4th with 58.82m, Lianna Davidson 5th with 58.25m and Mackenzie Mielczarek 7th with 56.51m.
Stepping up in distance to the 3000m, which was run in the rain, Jack Anstey gets 2nd in 7:47.18
Meeting Madrid:
In the long jump, Brooke Buschkuehl takes a win with her best of 6.79m (+1.9). Delta Amidzovski 's best was 6.54m (+1.1) for 6th.
Sarah Carli 's charge home was affected by a clip on the last hurdle but managed to finish in 55.63 and 5th.
In the hammer, Stephanie Ratcliffe throws a seasons best of 69.77m to finish in 7th place.
From the Liege meet:
In the 5000m Cara Feain-Ryan runs a big PB of 15:13.22 finishing 4th, while Maudie Skyring was 11th in 15:28.35
Ashley Moloney was 2nd in heat 2 of the 400mH in 50.79 Zara Hagan was 8th in the 100m with 11.53 (+1.7)
In what became more of a 1500m championship-style race - good practice for CommGames - the Australians looked to have given 800m specialist Tsige Duguma (ETH) the advantage with the slow pace but Abbey Caldwell & Claudia Hollingsworth both ran well under 60 second last laps, Caldwell with the win 4:01.79, Hollingsworth 2nd 4:02.02, and Georgia Griffith 6th 4:04.08
Stunning Continental Gold Tour meet for the Aussies 3 Gold, 3 Silver, 1 Bronze, 2 PBs
Jackson Sharp runs a PB of 7:33.59 with a fast finish to grab 3rd in the 3000m.
Nina Kennedy & Eliza McCartney (NZL) both retired in the pole vault finishing 1st & 2nd respectively, both having cleared 4.80m.
Olyslagers & Patterson both clear 1.96m on second attempts - and then Wow ... both clear 1.98m on first attempts as does Marija Vukovic (MNE). Patterson then clears 2.00m first attempt to take the gold, Olyslagers silver.

In the women's long jump Delta Amidzovski jumped 6.65m to finish 5th, just 2 cm from 3rd.
Kurtis Marschall clears 6.00m to take second behind Mondo Duplantis.
In the women's, Nina Kennedy leads with a first attempt clearance at 4.80m
Lachlan Kennedy bursts around the bend in the 200m to be leading, and finishes 5th in 20.44 (+0.4)
Nicola Olyslagers and Eleanor Patterson are both over 1.91m

Monique Hanlon runs a 22.60 (+1.9) at the Startford Speed GP 200m, which is a massive PB (previously 23.31). It was gusty at the meet, but wind reading makes it a legal time. Ebony Lane ran 11.52 (+1.6) in the 100m.
Also flying in the Swiss mountains at Gruyère, Torrie Lewis runs 22.62 (+1.9) & 11.15 (+3.1), while Mia Gross doubles with 22.90 (+1.9) and a PB 51.72 over 400m.
At a meet in Edmonton in the hammer throw, James Joycey throws 70.41m - his fifth comp in a row over 70 metres, and this his first year over that distance.
Mackenzie Mielczarek continues her busy series of events in Europe with a win in Grenchen and 55.59m.
Jonathan Harris and Max Shervington continue to enjoy their time in Finland, finishing 3rd & 4th in the 1500m at Tampere. Harris 3:41.22, Shervington 3:41.90
